If there’s one thing that Iceland knows how to do, it’s geothermal pools. Of course, the Blue Lagoon is on the top of everyone’s list, but there are hot springs and pools everywhere. Just outside of Reykjavík, Nauthólsvik geothermal beach features an ocean side hot tub just steps from the frigid Atlantic Ocean (if you’re looking for that natural, but icy cold plunge). It can get packed with locals and tourists in the summer time, but in the winter the cold weather chases away most of the crowds (and you can’t beat the view with that all-day sunset.)
