What could possibly be better than a day in London’s Natural History Museum or Science Museum?
A night in the museum! Some of London’s best museums offer kids a chance to sleep overnight in their famous galleries. Overnight guests at the Natural History Museum’s explore galleries by torchlight and fall asleep in the shadow of a great blue whale or Diplodocus.
The Science Museum holds Science Nights, where children participate in hands-on science activities, a science show and watch an IMAX film before falling asleep in one of the galleries.
Museum of London Night Owls wander through time by torchlight, create artwork with an award winning illustrator and play Victorian detective before passing out for the night.
All museums require one adult to remain with their children throughout the night (sorry parents) and have recommended age ranges for participation. Most of the museums have adult overnights too, but that’s another post!
