African Safari, Texas Style
Step aside Charlotte’s Web: the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch is not your normal animal experience, with over 500 animals comprised of 45 different species. They come from every continent except Antarctica
to this unique preserve on 400 acres of land where these exotic animals roam free. Located just north of San Antonio, this is the most frequently visited animal attraction in Texas. The self-drive tour takes you through the grounds where you get up-close-and-personal with the animals along the way. There is also a Petting Barnyard, which is more than your typical petting zoo: kids can meet African pygmy goats and llamas, and then head over to the Giraffe Barn. There is also a Safari Camp Grill and the Safari Trading Post, where you can eat and then shop after your animal encounters.
