Incredible American WomenSince Seneca Falls is considered the “birthplace” of the women’s rights movement in America, its very appropriate that this museum was established here as well. Intended as an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women throughout American history, it also inducts new members who represent the ongoing efforts of women within the fields of government, art, science, education, sports and philanthropy. A highlight is its “Book of Lives and Legacies” which visitors can contribute to in honor of women who have inspired them.
Its located next to the restored ruins of the hall where the Seneca Falls Convention took place in 1848.
