A Fitting Entrance for Coffee in Tainan
Though tea is the drink of choice in Taiwan, the appropriately named Narrow Door Coffee has helped put coffee on the map in the city of Tainan. Walk by the unmarked entrance and you might miss your chance to squeeze through sideways and reach the second floor, which overlooks the Confucius Temple. Here, writers, artists, and tourists convene over delicious coffee. Make sure to get whipped cream and a bonus biscuit on top of yours—it’s a sweet start or end to your day in Tainan.
