A Pint of Murphy's at Nancy Blake's Pub, Limerick, Munster Province, Ireland.
Disclaimer: this is not the best photo I've ever taken, but I should be given a free pass - this was my first night in Ireland, and I was knee-deep in frothy stout. All. Night. Long. I'm shocked I was even able to operate my camera, or that it made it back to the hotel with me.
Loved this little joint - tucked on a busy street in central Limerick, packed with locals, great live music. Basically everything I wanted from my first Irish pub experience. The bartender advised me to drink a Murphy's rather than a Guinness "you don't want to stand out more than you already do," and I took his advice in stride. Stayed out well past my bedtime, and loved every minute of it.
Nancy Blake's is home to a total of four pubs, each with their own vibe - this was The Outback, ya know, out back, where folks like to drink under the stars. Check it out.
