There is a saying,"There are three sides to every story: their side, our side and the truth." There is no mistaking from the moment you enter the museum whose story this is. As Americans it is sometimes hard to take. But just like our own revolution, the Cuban's are very proud of theirs and this museum, located in the former presidential palace, tells a very powerful tale. The museum explains, chronologically, the story of Fidel Castro's overthrowing of the Batista government and the post 1959 Cuba and its relationship with the United States. It clearly doesn't not paint a very nice picture of the United States. But then, how many American's have risked their lives in boats to escape democracy for Cuba?
