The legendry Yellowstone Park Rangers remain a wonderful source of information for all things wild and untamed, and can provided guided tours to some of the park’s most important historical sites and natural wonders, like the Fort Yellowstone Historic District, which includes some of the oldest buildings in the park, and the Museum of the National Park Ranger, housed in the Norris Soldier Station. The Yellowstone Association offers programs for middle-school and high-school students, including the My Yellowstone Adventure series of expeditions, and the Winter Wolf Discovery seminar. The Old Faithful Virtual Visitor Center is a great place to learn about the ecology hot springs, steam, lava, and brimstone.
