A Printing Museum in Houston
If you enjoy words, art, books, or crafts—and who doesn't like at least one of those?—you should check out the Museum of Printing History in Houston, which explores printed and written communication. As a journalist, I appreciate the old-school printing presses in the Hearst Gallery, as well as the newspapers from famous dates in American history. But the museum houses much more than that. You'll also find antique and modern books and printing exhibits. There are even classes that cover such topics as making paper, using a letterpress, and learning Adobe Illustrator.
