Museum of History and Industry
Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry is a must-see for history enthusiasts. The permanent collection includes an interactive historical narrative of
Seattle, an exhibit on maritime Seattle and the Bezos Center for Innovation, which celebrates Washington’s tech innovators and inventors. Some highlights include the tiny Boeing B-1, Boeing's first commercial plane; the “Petticoat Flag,” an 1856 American flag sewn by women during the Battle of Seattle; and the Rainier Brewing Company's 3.6-meter-tall neon "R" sign.
