Museum of Cham Sculpture

Museum of Cham Sculpture

The history of the Cham people is a long one; in ancient times, it was a matriarchal Hindu culture that once occupied much of Vietnam, as well as portions of Laos and Cambodia. This French-built museum is dedicated to them, and sports the world’s largest collection of Cham sculpture dating from between the 5th and 15th centuries, as well as numerous other ancient artifacts. There are also exhibits on contemporary Cham culture.
