Museum Forni
The charming fishing village of Glyvrar on the eastern edge of the Skálafjørður Inlet is home to the Museum Forni (Fornminnisfelagið Forni), a 17th-century Faroese house open to the public. Visitors will feel transported back in time as they stroll through this simple home, preserved as it was when it was first built centuries ago. The museum also has a gift shop; afterward, drop by the beautiful village church, which dates to 1927, before heading on your way.
