Steps you should climb in Rio
Rio is filled with quirky whimsical characters. And someone who epitomizes Rio’s eccentricity is an artist called Selaron.

Selaron is a Chilean artist who has lived in Rio since 1983. A man with a crazy moustache, a maniacal laugh and a bizarre taste in art, he professes his love for Rio through his paintings and sculpture.

The Selaron stairway is a permanent art installation, a public canvas of 215 steps made with millions of broken ceramic tiles from over 120 countries.

I met Selaron as he worked on his art and even spend some time in his studio and there's a good chance you might too.

If you have a few minutes I would suggest climbing the steps and know that you'd only be following in the footsteps of U2 and Snoop Dogg.
