La Casa Azul
This museum in Coyoacan is well worth a visit. In addition to being a beautiful property, the artist's former home gives you a great perspective on the life of Frida Kahlo, from her art, to her clothes, to her politics, to her relationships. It was most fascinating to get a glimpse into how she dealt with all her physical problems.

The Frida Kahlo Museum in Coyoacan
You can't go to Mexico City and not know who Frida Kahlo is. My friend suggested I read up on her before she comes up in conversation. Locals are very proud of their talented artist, Frida Kahlo. I didn't make it inside because there was a long line (shh... don't tell), but I did take some great photos of the outside of the museum and now have a reason to return to Mexico City.
