Museo de la Clandestinidad Hermanas Giral
The Clandestine Museum is one of Cienfuegos’s lesser-known attractions, which is why many visitors miss it. For those who have a special interest in Cuba’s revolutionary past, though, this museum should definitely be on the agenda. It’s located in the home of sisters María de Lourdes Giral and Cristina Giral Andreu, who were assassinated in Havana in 1958. Some basic exhibits help explain the lives of the sisters, the history of the armed struggle and how the revolutionary movement grew in provinces outside of the capital.
