Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino

Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino

For a glimpse of the cultural riches that preceded the arrival of European settlers in the Americas, the Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino is a must-see. This unique institution is dedicated to the study and conservation of the artistic heritage of the indigenous peoples of South America, with representative art not only from Chile but from the cultures of the Amazon, the high Andes plains, Central America and the Caribbean. The permanent exhibits are enhanced by temporary exhibitions that have, in the past, focused on weaving, copper art and other indigenous arts. Closed Mondays.
