MUSE Saint Tropez Re-Opens With New SOPHIA Suite
MUSE Saint Tropez, a chic retreat situated along Route des Marres and minutes away from Place des Lices, reopened for the season on April 14 to welcome guests back to the five-star property. Encapsulating the laid-back glamour of the French Riviera, MUSE Saint Tropez reflects architectural simplicity, perched atop a rocky cliff top in the picturesque medieval village of Ramatuelle. The reopening introduces the SOPHIA Suite and a new poolside dining option.

The newest addition to the hotel's Elegance Suites is the SOPHIA Suite, named after the famous Italian film actress Sophia Loren. The SOPHIA Suite features a living room and bedroom that open out on to a large private balcony with fantastic garden views, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. The suite is complemented with French stone flooring, Henryot furnishings, luxurious Pierre Frey linens and Hermès bath products.

The hotel’s new outside kitchen gives guests the ability to enjoy specially prepared lunches of spiny lobster and other fresh seafood by the pool. In addition, updated just last year, the reception area sports a new look that is reminiscent of the seaside, designed with turquoise tones and natural wood.
The MUSE is surrounded by a rambling three-acre award-winning garden filled with local vegetation and wildlife. The landscape architect, Sophie Agata Ambroise, designed the enchanting three acres of self-sustainable gardens to provide a restorative oasis of serenity.

The hotel's 14 luxuriously appointed suites lie nestled in the heart of the garden, each dedicated to famous muses and characteristically individual in décor and ambience. The beds are lined with 800 thread-count sheets, and the furniture is all uniquely custom-made by Henryot, the French manufacturer that used to create furniture for the royal court at Versailles. Select guest suites also feature a plunge pool, private garden, and a personal spa service room. Guests can customize spa treatments inspired by the elements sourced from plants found in the garden, such as thyme and lavender.

The main pool at the MUSE is interpreted as a water salon surrounded by a stylish bar, gymnasium, cabanas and loungers, indulgent massages, light meals and sundowners. The exquisite ‘M’ restaurant serves seasonal harvests from the Mediterranean and sourced from artisanal local producers, and transformed into creative expressions by the talented young chef, Emilie Myotte.
