This restaurant scratched a long-standing itch I’ve had for an expertly prepared northern italian meal. I’m always on the hunt for fresh-made pasta and the city of Portland has yet to disappoint. Mucca is very cozy, approachable, tightly seated restaurant. I highly recommend a reservation no matter what day you hope to visit. It’s the kind a place you sit down for a meal and stay for 3-4 courses and 2 bottles of wine--not because it’s expensive and mega fancy; but because it’s just that comfortable of a dining environment. If you’re there with friends, you’ll want to stay a while.
