Mount Douglas Park is home to Mount Douglas, a 260-meter mountain that provides a sweeping overlook of Victoria, the bay and across into Washington State. There is an abandoned mine that provides a 15 meter tunnel into the mountain where many visitors can safely explore. A long stretch of beach lines one side of the park. The paved path to the summit permits bikers to pedal their way up, and then leisurely coast down to the waterfront. Mount Douglas Park happens to provide some of the best views of the entire peninsula.
