Huge Portions and Organic Ingredients
Organic chicken and vegetables, barley-fed pork, and no artificial seasonings are the order of the day at this tiny hole in the wall ramen shop on Denman, which usually has a small queue outside. It’s the sister restaurant to Kintaro, and to my mind, the better of the two, thanks to the quality of ingredients. You can try a few different kinds of ramen here: their New generation Miso is especially good, and their Bamboo Charcoal Dark Miso has plenty of fans too; it’s meant to be a healthy option and is said to be good for digestion. To my shame, I can never finish a whole bowl here, the portions are huge!
