Mong Kok Markets

Hong Kong Zipping by
Walking the streets of Hong Kong you quickly become consumed by the chaos. I snapped this picture on one of the many intersections in the Mong Kok district. Mong Kok is located on the Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong. This area boast many markets, small shops, and food stalls. The markets include ladies market, goldfish market, bird market and flower market. There also appears to be a puppy market. I'm sure ASPCA would not approve, but my wife fell in love. Before walking the streets we ate at Tim Ho Wan. Tim Ho Wan is a 1 Michelin star dim sum restaurant. Very affordable menu but the wait is long, we waited about 50mins (it was worth it).

For this picture I slowed the shutter speed to capture the movement of the city. Static towering buildings and the chaos below, that's Hong Kong.
