Grand Prix du Formula 1
The Grand Prix arrived to the smallest Principality in Europe in 1929 and is one of the best known Formula 1 races on the circuit to day, long considered one of the most challenging of the sport with the infamous Fairmont Hairpin, the slowest curve in the sport, and a flat out kink which is the fastest. The 3,37 kilometer track covers all of Monte Carlo, rising into the upper climes, then descending to the yacht harbour. The driver’s skill is more important than a car’s power as they attack the 78 laps required to complete a full race.
