A Brasserie with Style
Cozy and intimate yet animated and buzzing, Mintwood has settled right in as a reliable and stylish brasserie in the Adams-Morgan neighborhood. Chef Cedric Maupiller shows off a French-inspired menu that makes for easy and satisfying eating. Escargot hush puppies, steak tartare, beet salad with goat cheese pies, cassoulet, and tagliatelle Bolognese are among the dishes not to be missed. But being a Sunday night, it was "Porchetta Night" whereby I feasted on a huge slice of suckling pig that was slow roasted for 24 hours with incredibly crispy skin and moist and flavorful meat.
