It's not often that a business will advertise that they don't have a phone, but that's exactly what Milse does. Their service is personal in a old-school sort of way - they greet you personally and patiently explain what's on offer today, and then give you their undivided attention without the usual distractions.
What do they sell? Pure tasty indulgence. Macarons, verrines, gateaux, tarts and my personal favourite, gelato sticks (try the peppermint and satilla). Yes, Milse is a patisserie and the good news is that you don't have to eat on the run. Why not take time out at the end of a shopping spree at Britomart and spend some time at a table, picking away at the tasting menu - rhubarb, apple and triple chocolate - slowly sampling all that goodness jumping out at you.
