A wine festival is held every September, but throughout the year you can visit the local sklepys, or homes that function as small cafes, tasting rooms and sometimes, guesthouses.
Here, you will be offered samples of the homemade Rieslings, Chardonnays and Sauvignon Blancs, paired with freshly prepared, authentically Czech dishes.
After a day of sight-seeing and sklepy-skipping, we found a small hole-in-the-wall cafe and bakery, called KUK, selling freshly- baked breads, olive oils, and a decent selection of local wines. We called this "tapas- the czech way."
