Meet a Stingray
The idea of hopping out of a boat and into water filled with stealthy stingrays and circling blacktip reef sharks might seem a little insane, but tourists in Bora-Bora do it every day. Getting close to lagoon creatures is a rite of passage here—as much fun as it is fear-inducing. Your experienced, gregarious guides will feed the playful stingrays to bring them nearby, then take you to snorkel over a coral reef and enjoy a motu (island) picnic.
