Cold weather can come early to Chicago so why not embrace it and go ice skating? The McCormick Tribune Ice Rink is located in Millennium Park directly under Chicago’s famous Bean and opens for free to the public in mid November every year. What better way to spend a chilly evening than with a spin around the ice?
Spectators also gather to watch skaters twirl and glide under the Christmas lights and drink cups of hot chocolate from the nearby Park Grill. Winter hasn’t arrived quite yet so get out and enjoy the sights before it gets really cold.
