San Antonio’s Star Parties
One night a week in McAllister Park, the San Antonio Astrological Association hosts Astronomy in the Park, a star party that is open to the public, and free to all. Local astronomers (most part of the Astrological Association) bring out their telescopes and help participants to find the rings of Saturn, spot, other planets, and pinpoint star formations in the night sky. Astronomy in the Park is a perfect event for families, and you can also bring out your own telescope to get tips from a more experienced astronomer, as you learn to see in to the night.
