, when fabulous design, great service, good food and entertainment were the expected norm. The Chef is Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who created a menu that is a mash up of Latin and South American, Spanish and Caribbean cuisines. Brunch outside on a weekend is magic. Their coconut pancakes are sweet clouds with fresh berries, best washed down with glass of Prosecco. Smoked fish dip with their house made pita, and pickle Fresno was bright and fresh, and perfect to share. For vegetarians, order the mushroom tacos with mole, kale and lime; and the sweet pea empanadas with a side of yogurt and chili dip are all great for snacking. The space is beautiful too, decorated with tropical plants in hanging baskets, and a sunny deck with seating overlooking the pool. Make reservations on Sunday as the Matador Room outdoors tends to fill up quickly.
