Built in 1880, Llandaff is a historic haven of beauty, the kind of spot where days can be lost laying languidly on the soft elegant furniture, reading books and sipping tea whilst the breeze flickers through the windows, birds tweet gently, sheep baa and butterflies flutter in the grass, or wandering the grounds and marvelling at the native New Zealand timbers that line the house and it's buildings, wonder curiously at original horse drawn farm machinery, watch the deer stare back at you, view the purple mountains in the distance, all before retiring to the cosy wood burner and home cooked food. And if you are lucky Robin may just get the penny farthing out whilst you eat fresh laid eggs, home made jam and orchard fruit for breakfast.
