Masoala Hall, in the Zurich Zoo, is a glass house reproducing a piece of Madagascar jungle. The 30°C temperature and 80% humidity make you feel like you are truly in a tropical country. More than 60 animal species and about 170 species of trees and other plants also make you forget that you are in Zurich. The richness of life in Masoala Hall is simply awesome. This chameleon is an example of what awaits you there!
Be advised to dress in layers, so you can take something off inside the hall. You’ll definitely feel the warmth. Do reserve at least an hour for the visit.
This is a must for children, as they really enjoy discovering all these animals and plants.
The restaurants serve snacks and complete meals—local or international—and drinks.
