Cover your eyes, vegetarians! At the main bazar in Sheki, a specialty seemed to be heads: lamb heads, sheep heads, cow heads. Heads were everywhere.
The reason? It's a regional speciality. As one local told me, the head will be boiled over night and then eaten in the morning. But very early in the morning -- like, say, 4am, by men (and only men) who wash it all down with ample amounts of vodka (strong liquor is a good idea when consuming any beast's head, I think).
