Caves, Chardonnay, and Chillin' on the Coast
As a country known for its world-class beaches, perhaps the nicest of them all are rarely visited, or even familiar to the millions of vacationers who descend on the country each year. Margaret River boasts some of the most picturesque scenery in Western Australia, incorporating towering forests, spectacular vineyards, rugged coastlines, and of course, white-sand beaches. The beaches are a mecca for surfers from around the world, each year attracting international attention with a number of top-level surfing competitions held in the area. What’s more, there’s an extensive underground system of over 350 caves hidden below the surface of the Margaret River area, which makes exploring below ground just as interesting as above.
