Manuel Antonio National Park
Puntarenas Province, Quepos, Costa Rica
Creek Crossing in Costa RicaIt was a blazing hot December afternoon. After a busy, fun-filled morning wandering around Manuel Antonio National Park spotting sloths, iguanas, spiders, leaf-cutter ants, monkeys, and more, we were ready to spend the afternoon cooling off poolside at the resort. On our way out of the park, there was a shallow creek barely 500 feet wide. This gentleman ferried us across on his little boat, and we didn’t get our tired feet wet wading through! Such a quirky and thoughtful idea - very Costa Rican, we thought. That delightful little boat ride made our already amazing day in Manuel Antonio unforgettable.
