I just checked, it looks like about 31 million people fly through P.I. each year, there's a good chance that 1/2 squirm their way through Terminal 1.
Anyone who's been there, even once, for less than two hours, probably knew by looking at the title of this writing which airport I was talking about. (Chicago O'hare is #2 worst-ever in my book. Love the city, hate the airport.) The food is S***. The coffee is worse. There's no ATM machine. It's cramped, it's hot, it's insanely loud. And if you were there in 1987 you could watch the civil war going on downtown!
It hasn't been "updated" in four decades, and we're all a little afraid of what it will turn out like when it is.
Be cautious my friend; eat before you go, watch your wallet, good luck with the wifi, get in and back out of there as fast as you can. My best memory of the airport? Stuck for six hours? Besides watching the war? The record store. There used to be a record store.
Here's to you, everyone that survived it.
