The Mandarin Oriental allows you a helicopter view of San Francisco. The rooms are all in the top floors of this double tower, called "the tweezers" by the locals. There are glass bridges between the two structures that allow panoramic views in opposite directions. Little tip: room 4507 allows you see both bridges.
This view shows the Transamerica Pyramid, Telegraph Hill, and Alcatraz Island in the Bay. Skip Alcatraz and stay at the Mandarin instead.
