One of the main attractions of Laguna Beach is, well, the beach. The Main Beach lifeguard tower is probably the town's most recognizable landmark (it was built in 1929, and was originally part of a gas station located across the street). During the summer months, tourists flock to the shore to soak up the sun, play basketball or sand volleyball, swim, and surf. Two things to keep in mind when you come to visit - parking can be hard to come by, and the water is cold almost year-round.
