There are shooting ranges, and then there’s Machine Guns Vegas. What sets MGV apart is a nightclub-like atmosphere that starts with scantily clad hostesses and ends with a gallery where you can empty rounds into cutouts of evildoers from around the world. The range offers a variety of packages, including one that allows customers to fire off real-life versions of guns made popular in shoot-’em-up video games, and another that incorporates the same guns used by special operations forces and combat units. There’s even a package designed for kids (it includes a Beretta and the M4 carbine). MGV also recently added outdoor packages that let you sample new weapons out in the desert, as well as an experience that involves shooting actual guns within a virtual-reality video game about the zombie apocalypse. Rick Grimes, the main character in The Walking Dead, would be proud.
