Jardin du Luxembourg
Staying in the 6th Arrondissement of Paris made Luxemburg Gardens a "Day 1" priority. Now, home of the French Senate, the baroque architecture built in the 1620s for Marie de Médici hosts French people, being exactly that - French. In November, the garden may be less lush but it remains the perfect place to grab one of its metal chairs, slow down and enjoy the scenery which includes 100+ sculptures, childrens playgrounds, and the ornate fish pond, Fontaine des Médici, tucked away on the east side of the palace.
