Whether you prefer a glass of sauvignon blanc or a cold pint of ale, Nova Scotia’s Good Cheer Trail will lead you to a good time and tasty drink. It’s the first trail of its kind in North America, connecting 35 wineries, craft breweries, and distilleries in Nova Scotia from Yarmouth in the west to the eastern end of Cape Breton. (Seen here is the Luckett Vineyards in Wolfville.) Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities for detours to beaches, small towns, and historic sites. Use a digital or printed passport, and if you check in at ten stops, you’ll get a t-shirt. However many stops you make, you’re guaranteed some good wine, beer, and cheer.
