It’s hard to imagine a waterfall in the midst of the desert landscape of southern Utah; the fact that Calf Creek Falls exists here makes it a truly special destination. Marvel at the remarkable contrast between the green riparian creek area and the surrounding red cliff walls. The round-trip hike to the falls is about 5 1/2 miles. Look for petroglyphs and signs of the early settlers on the way. During warm months, BRING WATER, and plenty of it. You can camp nearby, and there are plenty of other hikes in the area to enjoy as well as this one.
