This Back Bay spot is one of my favorites. I would definitely recommend going here for the ambiance; i's a great date-night spot, or a place to grab a few drinks on the weekends.
The decor includes black damask, printed walls, with red accent lighting. It's dark inside, yet filled with great music, and the drink menu is full of tasty varieties. The interior feels like stepping into a Gothic, Mexican dungeon—think Dia de los Muertos meets tequila and luxury.
If you're hungry, Lolita's begins every meal with a tequila slush of some sort, to clear your palette, and they end every meal with a homemade, cotton candy dessert.
Lolita didn't get named Boston's Best Pickup Bar without a reason. This spot is one sexy space. The red glow and decorative, swirly accents in the decor certainly add to the cozy ambiance. And if tequila is your thing, then they've got a cocktail for you! A long list of margaritas, mojitos and cervezas combined with a street food menu make this a great locale to get the party started.
