Little Taiwan is a rocky platform located quite near to Taiwan's famous Double-Heart Stone Fishing Weir on Qimei Island in the Penghu Archipelago. This famous sweet-potato shaped rock is only visible at low tide.
You can book a trip to Qimei by visiting the South Sea Recreational Center on Makung Island. Other stops on this tour include a visit to Wang'an Island, a look at Tongpan Geology Park, and Hujing islet. Tongpan and Hujing are both known for their incredible geological features.
You will be given a set amount of time to explore Wang'an and Qimei Islands on your own. You can walk these tiny islands or you can rent a scooter at the docks for a nominal price.
Chimei's green and mountainous terrain is offset by black sand beaches, traditional stone fishing weirs, and other historical attractions.
