Superb food and ambiance Bad Cannstatt is hosting the Volksfest these days but that is not the only great thing happening there. A superb little mom and pop Greek restaurant is also there called, Little Greek Taverna. I know, going to Bad Cannstatt for Greek food when there are others close by is a little much but I promise it's worth it. The food is superb, service is very fast and the prices are moderate. The best thing about it is the huge selection of appetizers which I shared with my friends. There is a selection of German and Greek wines. The menu is in Greek and German but the people there speak some English so no problems. Try the mushrooms stuffed with feta, the grilled octopus, the shrimp saganaki, the stuffed vine leaves, the zucchini puffers, the whole calamari stuffed with fresh tomatoes and feta. Try EVERYTHING! I can't wait to go there again, no other place will do. We went there close to the opening time and the place was nearly all booked so it's wise to have a reservation.
