I love this place. It meshes authentic Mexican food (NOT Tex-Mex) with just enough New South to keep it bright, beautiful, and original. Every time we go, despite our best efforts to try something new, we order the same thing: a couple of tacos each from the Street Food menu with the La Concoccion on the side (rice, beans, cojita, scallions, smoked habanero sauce, and a nice runny egg dished up in your own mini cast iron).
The Paloma cocktail is my personal favorite, but I've never sipped anything from here that I didn't love.
Even if you're not a kid, ask for a luchador mask and crayons to color while you're waiting for your food!
