Belgian most modern
The new station in Belgium's 3rd largest city is made of glass and steel and white concrete and, to me, feels like a modern cathedral. I was last there in February 2013 and it was cold outside meaning, like in giant European cathedrals, it was cold inside too. Pretty as it is, the architect, Santiago Calatrava, must have overlooked the fact that there should be doors and windows that close so people can stay warm in the Belgian chill.
