Liarsville Gold Rush Camp
The Liarsville Gold Rush Camp at the foot of White Pass got its name from the journalists who concocted tall tales set here during the days of the gold rush. A visit to the camp typically starts with a fish bake featuring fresh wild salmon. Then you can continue on to explore the old trail camp and the gold fields where a gold-panning station lets prospectors-to-be try their luck. A melodrama at the camp's theater features actors dressed as sourdoughs, dance-hall girls and “the bard of the Yukon,” Robert Service.
