There is no menu at Toulouse's most well known restaurant. The server simply asks you how you would like your steak cooked and what type of drink you would like with your meal. After a green salad, the main attraction is presented to you: thinly sliced steak with a garlicky sauce (the recipe is kept secret by the staff) accompanied by a heaping pile of pommes frites. The meat is succulent and cooked perfectly with the remainder of your steak (as well as that of the others in your party) presented on a giant serving tray which ensures that you can't leave without being fully stuffed. No wonder there is always a line out the door.
