Lemonade in the L.A. International Airport offers inexpensive fresh food options. It's is the only place in the airport that gets me to shell out some hard-earned cash on a semi-regular basis (I'm in the airport a lot). It's a bit of a splurge, but I allow myself because the food is fresh and the service is pretty fast, even with the line spilling over into the terminal. I figure I either pay $11 for a bowl of sad-looking lettuce and a few chunks of greenish red tomatoes, or I could choose from a dozen of Lemonade's side dishes, soups, and chilies, toasted sandwiches, and big green salads for about $10.
The best deal of all would have to be their cupcakes for $1.20: Red Velvet, Carrot, or Chocolate Buttermilk. Oh, and of course, their Lemonades!
