From the Ravoux Inn, where Vincent Van Gogh lived the past 2 months of his life, it's a short walk to the cemetery where he was buried.
On the way, we came across a number of signs, that showed Van Gogh's final paintings in front of their original subject matter, where it still exists, of course. Quite a few of these markers can be found all over town, making it easy to take a self-guided hike and to explore Vincent's work and beautiful Auvers-sur-Oise at a leisurely pace.
>>>Warm thanks to my lovely friends at AmaWaterways for an unforgettable river cruise on the Seine from Paris to Normandy. My visit to Auvers-sur-Oise was one of many excursions available daily at no additional cost. Great concept, AmaWaterways!
